Discord Bot Slash Commands Are Not Working
If you are trying to use the /sim slash command but it's not working, try the following steps to get things working in your server.
Make sure the bot is in your server
Slash commands only work if the Raidbots Discord bot is in your server.
Invite the Raidbots Discord Bot to my server
Ensure the bot has the correct permissions
In some cases, the bot might not have the right Discord permissions to use slash commands in your server.
The easiest way to fix this issue is to kick the bot and then re-invite the bot - make sure you use the bot invite link from here: Invite the Raidbots Discord Bot to my server
A server admin can easily kick the bot by right-clicking the Raidbots bot and choosing the Kick Raidbots option.
Once the bot is removed the server, go through the invite process above.
Ensure all users have the Use Application Commands permission in your server
There is a newer user permission called "Use Application Commands" which is required for members in your server to use slash commands from bots.
This lives in Server Settings > Default Permissions > Use Application Commands
You may need to enable this in the Default Permissions and also check for any specific user roles.
