Why was my card declined?

When a card is refused, it's the bank/card themselves blocking the request and they don't provide any additional information to me.

You'll need to call the customer support number on your card to determine why it was blocked. You may need to specifically ask to talk to the ACH department if the first folks you talk to don't see anything.

There are a few things you can ask about that sometimes cause problems:

  • Raidbots is a US business so if you are not in the US, there can sometimes be limits/weirdness about international transactions
  • You can specifically ask if there are any blocks/problems with Raidbots specifically or with Stripe (the payment processor I use)
